Madcow Brewing Company: Green Mountain ESB

Green Mountain ESB employs a classic grain bill with crystal malt and a touch of Special B to give it character. This copper colored ale gives rise to a malty body with hints of biscuit and subtle dark fruit. Despite being a “bitter” it is not really all that bitter and our version is given an American punch by using all American hops to balance the sweetness; making it a favorite while out hiking on the mountain.
