- The Kalona Brewing Company opened its doors in the fall of 2013 and has offered a combination of great food and craft beer since that time. Our founding vision was to create a restaurant and production brewery in downtown Kalona which would give patrons a unique and positive experience. One question we hear a lot is "Why Kalona?". The answer is as simple as "It's home". The menu at Kalona Brewing Company focuses on organic and locally sourced ingredients, as well as ever changing world-influenced dishes. Our beer style varies and features everything from Kalona Classic Light Lager to Start Up Coffee Stout. We feature 16 tap lines to choose from as well as growler fills and packaged cans of Kalona Brewing Company beer to take home for later enjoyment.
