Position Overview

The Florida State Sales Manager – THC Beverages will own and grow our business in Florida. Responsible for developing and executing a strategic sales plan, increasing brand awareness, and building strong relationships with your wholesale network to establish and maintain status as a preferred supplier.

This position requires existing experience and established relationships within the Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB-I) wholesaler network in Florida.This role reports directly to the National Sales Director

Key Responsibilities

  • Distributor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with AB-I wholesalers in Florida, ensuring alignment on sales objectives, inventory levels, and marketing strategies.
  • Sales Strategy Development & Execution: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to maximize revenue growth and market penetration across Florida.
  • Retail Account Development: Work closely with AB-I distributors to expand placement in key on-premise and off-premise accounts, including bars, restaurants, grocery, and specialty retail.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging existing AB-I network connections and Florida-specific market knowledge.
  • Training & Education: Provide ongoing product training, compliance education, and sales support to distributor teams and retail partners.
  • Brand Activation: Partner with marketing teams to coordinate promotional events, product samplings, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all sales and marketing activities align with Florida’s cannabis and beverage alcohol regulations.
  • Performance Tracking: Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive insights to optimize sales strategies and report on key performance metrics.
  • People Management: Assist Field Marketing in recruiting, training, and supervising Brand Ambassadors.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 5+ years of proven success in brewery or distributor sales/sales management, with a minimum of 3 years working directly with the AB-I wholesaler network in Florida.
  • Deep knowledge of distributor processes, national accounts, inventory management, market trends, retail execution, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Top-level organization and planning skills.
  • Demonstrated self-starter with motivational and leadership abilities.
  • Able to travel regularly (50%+) throughout Florida. An ideal candidate will be centrally located in the state.
