Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute the packaging schedule in coordination with the production and warehouse teams
  • Perform and oversee CIP, maintenance, and troubleshooting on packaging equipment
  • Track production metrics, downtime, yields, and inventory consumption using ERP systems (e.g., EKOS or equivalent)
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness in packaging and cold storage areas
  • Uphold safety protocols and proactively address equipment issues and maintenance needs
  • Participate in daily production meetings and provide input on process optimization
  • Help build and refine SOPs and training documentation for the packaging department
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and performance feedback for packaging staff
  • Jump in as needed on the floor to run equipment, support team members, or cover staffing gaps

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in beverage packaging; 1+ year of leadership experience preferred
  • Proficiency with canning and kegging equipment and general mechanical aptitude
  • Familiarity with food safety, QA/QC protocols, and basic lab procedures
  • Comfortable using computers and software to track inventory and production metrics
  • Forklift experience and/or certification is a strong plus
  • Committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
  • Strong communication, coaching, and organizational skills
