About Crosby Hops:
Crosby Hops is a fifth-generation, family-owned hop grower, processor, and merchant based in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. We supply discerning brewers with a curated selection of high-quality hops—including our sustainably grown Estate Grown varieties and CGX® Cryogenic Lupulin Pellets—sourced both from our farm and a global network of like-minded independent growers. More than just great hops, we offer tools like our Brewer Portal for seamless ordering, bi-coastal cold storage for faster delivery, and industry-leading customer support. As a brand deeply connected to brewing culture and craft values, we believe in building real relationships and bringing flavor to life—one pint, one partnership, one event at a time.
Position Overview:
We’re looking for a passionate and strategic Field Marketing Manager to bring the Crosby Hops brand to life across key markets in the U.S. and beyond. This role is equal parts strategic planning and boots-on-the-ground execution—managing events, sponsorships, activations, and partnerships that build awareness, drive demand, and deepen relationships with craft brewers and industry partners.
If you thrive at the intersection of beer culture, community, and brand building—and you’re ready to roll up your sleeves to deliver unforgettable experiences—we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Strategy & Execution
- Plan and execute field marketing initiatives including trade shows, industry events, brewery activations, and on-farm experiences for annual hop selection.
- Own event logistics from start to finish—booth design, merchandise, product displays, travel, registration, logistics, vendor coordination, and on-site management.
- Brand Activation & Engagement
- Serve as a brand ambassador and sales support for Crosby Hops in the field—building relationships with brewers, international distributors, and partners.
- Develop innovative, localized campaigns that connect brewers to the brand and highlight our products (T-90, CGX®, CGX® NUVO™, Fresh Hops etc.).
- Host customers for on-farm tours during hop selection season (August-October)
- Partnership Development
- Identify and activate strategic partnerships with key breweries, festivals, guilds, and media outlets.
- Negotiate and manage sponsorships, ensuring brand alignment and measurable ROI.
- Content & Insights
- Capture field-level insights, photos, and stories to feed into broader marketing and sales campaigns.
- Play a key role in social media strategy and content curation.
- Collaborate with marketing team to align field activities with content, product launches, and brand storytelling.
- Merchandise
- Order, allocate, and track inventory levels for Crosby Hops merchandise.
- Assist in the design and creation of branded merchandise.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to align regional goals and ensure integrated campaign execution.
- Support regional account managers in developing local engagement plans for key accounts and/or regions.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of marketing, event, or field activation experience—ideally in craft beer, beverage, or agriculture-related industries.
- Proven ability to manage complex event logistics and field programs with excellence.
- Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working independently and traveling frequently.
- Passion for craft beer, hops, agriculture, and sustainable business practices.
- Bonus: Experience working directly with brewers or beer industry partners.
- Bonus: Familiarity with CRM and marketing platforms (HubSpot)
