JOB OVERVIEW
Block 15 is looking for a strong personnel and systems manager to lead our Distribution company in Corvallis, OR. The right candidate will be able to balance a dynamic sales flow, maintain excellent relationships with accounts and suppliers, and support the team of drivers and warehousers that deliver world class beer to Oregon and SW Washington

The Distribution & Sales Manager works to maintain our sales and warehousing database with up to date, accurate information, with an ability to communicate pertinent information to all necessary stakeholders. They provide reports and sales information to suppliers, order inventory from suppliers, and communicate the needs of suppliers to decision makers within the company. This job is approximately 75% office-based and 25% field-based. All office based work is at our distribution and warehouse facility in Corvallis, OR.
Duties & Responsibilities (Some, but not all!)
Personnel Management:
- Management of drivers, warehouse, and logistics teams including, but not limited to, hiring of warehousers + drivers, accountability, bolstering employee morale, and conducting employee reviews
Sales Administration
- Be a hub of coordination for sales and logistics teams
- Manage/update Encompass data
- Updating Product Allocations & Authorizations in Encompass
- Updating Sales Dashboard
- Work with encompass support to trouble shoot issues as they arise
- Manage & update the weekly Distribution Fresh Sheet
- Serve as primary contact for Sales team for reports & sales tools
Supplier Procurement
- Order inventory quantities according to forecasting and sell through
- Communicate inventory issues to COO and strategize solutions
- Communicate brand issues to COO and develop strategies to address them together
- Manage inflow of new products from suppliers.
Sales
- Support and manage other Sales reps
- Develop Sales Strategies in collaboration with COO/CEO/Team
- Follow Through/Accountability
- Benchmarking and Coaching
Qualifications
- 3 - 5 Years of Beer sales experience
- Exceptional computer skills
- Experience with ERP/SAP databases and software
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
- A positive attitude and can do spirit
- Ability to routinely lift 140 lbs when needed 2 inches off the ground
Preferred qualifications:
- Knowledge of Encompass Distributor software
- 2+ years in a sales or distribution-related role
Time Requirements
- Some nights and weekends
- 40-45 hours per week
