About Us:
We’re a small, tight-knit production team focused on brewing exceptional beer (and cold brew coffee) with precision, creativity, and attention to detail. We take pride in what we do and expect the same from anyone who joins us. This is a hands-on role in an environment where curiosity is encouraged, and there’s opportunity to grow into new areas of production over time.
Position Overview:
We’re hiring a full-time Cellar Staff member to join our production team. The role is primarily focused on cellar operations — fermentation monitoring, beer transfers, CIP, and general brewery upkeep — but may also include packaging and brewing responsibilities over time. There’s room to grow here, and the right person will have the opportunity to get involved across different areas of production.
This is a full-time, hourly position reporting to the Brewery Manager. Some night and weekend availability may be required based on production needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cellar operations, including dry hopping, CIP, carbonation, and transfers
- Assist with packaging operations (kegging, canning, bottling)
- Maintain clear and accurate records of production activities
- Conduct basic quality control and fermentation monitoring
- Participate in cleaning and maintenance of tanks, draft systems, and production equipment
- Help with cold brew production and pilot brewing projects
- Follow SOPs and safety procedures diligently
- Communicate clearly with other production staff and managers
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience cellaring in a production brewery strongly preferred
- Comfortable working with chemicals, pumps, hoses, and pressurized vessels
- Solid understanding of fermentation, cleanliness, and brewery operations
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Great communication skills and attention to detail
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain one)
- Self-starter with a team-first attitude
- Brewing education a plus, but not required
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salaried position at $52,000 / year
- Health Insurance, Dental and 401k with Employer contribution match
- Beer perks (obviously)
- Opportunity for cross-training and advancement in brewing
