Job Summary:

We’re seeking an energetic, self-motivated Field Sales Representative to join our growing team. You’ll be responsible for driving sales, building strong relationships with retailers and wholesaler partners, and increasing the visibility of the Coronado Brewing Co. portfolio within the Inland Empire. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for craft beer and hard cider, has a results-driven attitude, and the ability to succeed in a fast-paced, competitive environment.


Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop new business and maintain current accounts within the region of Riverside County, San Bernadino County, Los Angeles County (east of 605 and north of the 60) to achieve territory volume and distribution goals.
  • Increase Coronado sales and brand visibility in designated region by opening new accounts, expanding distribution in existing accounts, selling in features, building displays, hosting promos and utilizing POS items.
  • Educate accounts and consumers on Coronado Brewing Co.’s brand and portfolio of core products, LTOs, pricing, etc. Identify new business opportunities and become acquainted with key decision makers or decision influencers in your market.
  • Develop “preferred supplier status” and build relationships with key people at distributor, such as the President/GM, Brand Manager, Sales Managers, Sales Reps, Merchandising Teams.
  • Work collaboratively with distributor partners to execute sales plans and initiatives. Implement action plans for distributor partners, ensuring clear and measurable objectives to deliver on distribution and volume targets.
  • Develop understanding of how wholesaler executes in the market: point of sale orders, pulling and invoicing of samples, scheduling work-withs, scheduling merchandiser account visits for specialty point of sale and large displays, basic policies for handling distributor bill backs, receiving monthly sales reports, scheduling time at weekly/monthly sales meetings.
  • Conduct tastings, promotions, and staff trainings to increase brand awareness and drive velocity. Represent Coronado Brewing Co. at industry events, beer festivals, etc.
  • Visit a minimum of 50 quality account calls per week. Must be able to work nights and weekends.
  • Utilize CRM and reporting.


  • Required Skills/Experience (but not limited to):
  • Preferred candidates reside in San Bernardino County or Riverside County.
  • 2 years of beverage related sales experience, preferably in the craft beer or alcohol industry.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in the local marketplace.
  • Highly organized with strong time-management skills and the ability to work alone.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with great judgment and professional maturity.
  • General knowledge of brewing process.
  • General knowledge of Beverage Alcohol industry -market share and product offerings, etc.
  • Knowledge of distributor operations, knowing how to work with distributors, and understanding how to work with different trade channels.
  • Must be able to travel.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours/days, including weekend events.
  • Computer competence in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, Outlook, ideally VIP/KARMA
  • Administrative ability to complete company’s minimal administration requirements on time regularly such as expense reports, monthly recaps, monthly calendar, budget management, daily e-mail responses, weekly call reporting, etc.
  • Must have a clean driving record (Motor vehicle records checks will be performed on candidates).
  • Ability to lift and move kegs and cases of beer frequently, at least up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to climb, kneel, and stoop to arrange and display point of sale frequently.
