Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and technically skilled Lead Brewer to oversee all aspects of our brewing operations. This individual will work closely with ownership, front-of-house leadership, and our culinary team to ensure our beer lineup reflects the heart of our brand and resonates with our local community.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone passionate about both the art and science of brewing. You’ll be responsible for maintaining high production standards, developing seasonal beers, and ensuring consistency in quality, cleanliness, and output.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day brewing operations including brewhouse, fermentation, cellaring, and packaging
• Maintain and enforce cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards across all brewing areas
• Manage raw material inventory and ordering in collaboration with operations team
• Execute and develop recipes aligned with TennFold’s brand and community tastes
• Track production metrics and quality assurance procedures
• Collaborate with the front-of-house and culinary teams to enhance the overall guest experience
• Train and mentor brewing staff (as the team grows)
• Ensure all production complies with state and federal regulations

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial brewing experience required
• Strong technical knowledge of all aspects of brewing, fermentation, yeast management, sanitation, and packaging
• Experience operating a 7–15 BBL brewhouse (we operate a [insert specific system, if relevant])
• Understanding of QA/QC practices and lab work
• Ability to lift 55+ lbs repeatedly, work in hot/cold environments, and safely handle chemicals
• Familiarity with safety protocols and brewery compliance standards
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and collaborative
