SUMMARY

This position is responsible for performing all operations pertaining to beer production at the RRBC Windsor Brewery.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Cleaning and sanitation of brewing equipment and general brewery cleaning.
  2. Perform all brewhouse and cellar work at our 75bbl production facility including:
  3. Wort production
  4. CIP tanks, transfer lines, auxiliary equipment
  5. Yeast harvests, propagation, and yeast health monitoring
  6. Operate centrifuge and other filtration technology
  7. Perform cellar racks, tank actions, and dry hopping
  8. Carbonate and keg beer
  9. All tasks to be completed with a relentless attention to detail and focus on Beer Quality.
  10. Adhere to all SOPs for tasks assigned.
  11. Complete proper documentation for completed tasks via Smartsheet.
  12. Document completed tasks in ERP system (Orchestrated Beer).
  13. Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate mechanical issues to supervisor and maintenance team.
  14. Raw Material receiving, preparation, and management as it pertains to brewing actions and transfer to our Santa Rosa Pub Brewery.
  15. Assist with packaging tasks as needed.
  16. Assist on any other Production tasks as requested.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

·        Brewing science or applicable math or science degree or certification preferred

·        Experience with Orchestrated Beer or similar ERP is preferred.

·        Proficient utilization of Microsoft Office applications for email, documentation, and calculation purposes.

·        Experience with Proleit or similar Brewing automation is preferred.

·        Mechanical proficiency sufficient to perform routine preventative maintenance and manageable repairs

·        Knowledge of business math and its application to brewing science and production processes.

·        Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace


REQUIREMENTS

·        Minimum of 2 years of production brewing experience required

·        The employee is expected to adhere to all company policies

·        Must be at least 21 years of age

·        Current Forklift certification (can be provided by RRBC)

·        Hours of operation 6am-9pm, this position may require rotational on-call weekend and/or evening work.
