Rexis Biotech is a fast-paced and quickly growing biotech firm that works with clients around the globe. We produce finished consumer goods such as hemp beverages, 2oz shots, drink stick packs and other CPG products in addition to providing technology used by other manufacturing companies both domestically and internationally. Our team utilizes our own industry leading technology and IP, manufacturing facilities, distribution services and sales channels.
About the Role
The Project & Logistics Manager reports to the Director of Manufacturing & Production while working closely work with multiple departments (executive team, sales, manufacturing, client management and product procurement), to help the team do the best work they possibly can.
Project & Logistics Management is essential to ensuring Rexis delivers products and services successfully (e.g., against scope, cost, time, quality) and maintained through the application of project management methodologies and business operations.
The Project & Logistics Manager role will ensure products are transported efficiently and correctly but will also analyze, review, and document the requirements of a project throughout its lifecycle and help the entire team complete the project successfully.
Day to day responsibilities:
Below is a list of some but not all responsibilities associated with this position.
Logistics:
- Ensure proper transportation of all products in and out of our manufacturing facility/warehouse
o Schedule, manage and execute LTL and FTL transportation of finished goods to our various distribution partners.
o Execute high quality communications internally and externally.
Timely, detailed, effective and well written.
o Work closely with team members in the warehouse ensuring proper shipping and receiving of raw goods, finished inventory, e-commerce packages and distribution fulfillment.
o Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation including meeting notes, issues and risks log, status reporting and lessons learned.
o Conduct quality assurance of product shipments prior to leaving the facilities.
o Manage and ensure budgets for projects are met.
o Facilitate meetings.
Project Management
o Track and ensure execution of various projects, including but not limited to:
Client R&D projects
New client samples
Special events
o Prepare and deliver manufacturing updates to clients.
o Coordinate with the manufacturing and procurement department to ensure all required inventory items are available for production.
o Handle and coordinate all aspects of shipping and logistics, ensure products are shipped on time, with correct documentation.
o Manage up to 25 manufacturing projects at any one time.
o Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
Administrative/Management
- Work closely with Production, Procurement, Sales, and E-Commerce Fulfillment teams
- Manage all shipping/receiving partner relationships
- Work extensively with NetSuite
- Managing relationships with shipping/receiving partners and working with ERP systems (NetSuite) are appropriate, as most CPG businesses rely heavily on such systems for inventory and logistics management
Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
The job requires close work with manufacturing, procurement, sales, and e-commerce fulfillment, which is standard for CPG logistics managers who must coordinate across the supply chain to ensure timely product delivery
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience working as a project coordinator with a high level of experience with logistics and shipping.
- Soft Skills: Emphasis on communication, attention to detail, problem-solving, and teamwork is appropriate for the fast-paced, high-stakes environment of CPG logistics
- NetSuite Certified or must be able to demonstrate extensive software knowledge.
- Fully fluent in English with college level proficiency
- High attention to detail
- Critical/analytical thinking and problem solving.

Wage:
· $70 - $85k per year
· Stock Options and Bonus based on experience and job performance
