Position Purpose:
The Colorado sales representative will visit 40 - 50 sales accounts per week representing Denver Beer Co., Stem Ciders & Howdy Beer. As a face of the company you will be the face of Wilding Brands in assigned territory, working with on & off premise accounts- gain new distribution, verify chain resets, secure features and displays, educate customers on our brands. Will work closely with our distributor partner: Breakthru Beverage. Come join our nimble yet dynamic team where you’ll make an immediate impact.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Market & Territory
- Sales: Executes 40 - 50 sales account visits per week building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts, buyers, bartenders and retail partners. Recap weekly activity to VP Sales and team members each Monday morning.
- Identify: Develop new business opportunities to expand Wilding Brands porfolio of brands presence across defined territory. Maintains CRM data and builds portfolio of contacts to grow awareness and business.
- Executes: Self-motivated and has excellent day-to-day calendar organization. Delivers results for key performance indicators like landing new Howdy & Stem Draft placements, securing stacker displays & end cap features in off prem liquor retail stores, gaining new distribution commitments & improved shelf positioning, applying POS, & verifies chain resets. Also surveys for proper Menu placement and pricing. Staff education and promotions as well.
- Work-with’s: Our distributor to maximize sales efforts and is available for support. Collaborates with our sales & marketing teams to improve market presence and is the voice at retail for the brand.
- Travel: Occasionally will travel outside of defined territory for crew-drives or market blitzes and events.
- Events: Represents Wilding Brands at festivals, beer & cider dinners, samplings & tastings, sponsorships, handsells + strategic events. Seeks out opportunities with venues.
- Manages: Time effectively, collaborates with the team and is responsible for reconciling expenses and staying within budget.
Position Requirements:
Skills, Knowledge, Attitude
- 3+ years of relevant sales experience in the craft beverage- beer wine or spirits industry. Energetic, competitive and goal oriented with a strong work-ethic.
- Planning, communication, relationship development, and problem solving. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and works well without direct supervision but also understands the value of contributing to the team.
- Understands market trends and analyzes opportunity and competition in the food/beverage industry.
- Always presents a professional, can-do and team-oriented, achievement-driven mindset.
- Collaborates cross-functionally with internal teams to generate sales & marketing ideas to enhance communication and success.
Benefits & Salary:
The sales representative position will report to the VP of Sales. It is full time at 40 hours/week and some weekends required. Candidates must be willing to be in accounts 5 days a week and have reliable transportation + a clean driving record. Attend weekly sales meetings held @ HQ in Lafayette as well as work in defined region.

**Mountains- Summit, Eagle, Grand, Routt, Mesa counties focus.
Salary at $55 - 70k depending on experience + $300 / Month car allowance or company vehicle. Performance based, quarterly bonuses for KPI & territory CE volume. Must be 21 or older with a valid drivers license.
Location: Two roles- one based in Denver and the other in Summit, Garfield or Eagle counties. Expectation of 5 days a week in the market with light office support responsibilities.
