Job Overview

The State Manager is responsible for managing relationships with our Distributor Partners AND our Local Retail Accounts, Bars and Venus driving sales growth, and ensuring the successful execution of sales strategies. You will also be responsible for your local sales goals and Program execution with Local Activations as well as chain programming. This role involves developing LOCAL programming and assisting senior leadership with strategic Planning.


Reporting Structure:

Role reports directly to the President of American Rebel Beverage

National Account will assist with Training and program execution assistance and requires assistance from State Managers

Below are KEY responsibilities for this role:

State Manager

·      Serve as the primary point of contact for our distributor Partners and local KEY accounts.

·      Develop and maintain strong relationships with our Distributor partner and their sales team members as well as their Key local retail accounts.

·      Ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly.

Strategic Planning

·      Assist in creating and implementing strategic plans to achieve sales targets and business growth for your local sales environment.

·      Identify new business opportunities at Retail and develop strategies for sales growth.

·      Analyze market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the industry.

Budget Management

·      Prepare local budget requests for approval and manage approved budgets.

·      Monitor expenses to ensure compliance with budgetary constraints within your State Budgets

·      Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

·      Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for budget adjustments.

·      Report on budget performance and work with management to address any variances.

Project Assistance

·      Collaborate with the President on various projects, offering insights and support as needed.

·      Assist in the planning and execution of special projects and initiatives.

·      Provide administrative support to ensure the smooth running of operations.


Reporting and Analysis

·      Prepare and present regular reports on account activities, sales performance, and project progress for your local market

·      Analyze sales data and generate insights to inform for positive decision-making for your local markets

·      Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and identify areas for improvement.


Market Intelligence

·      Conduct market research and gather customer feedback to understand market needs and preferences.

·      Stay updated on industry trends, emerging products, and competitive landscape.

·      Provide recommendations based on market intelligence to drive business growth.

Cross-functional Collaboration

·      Work closely with other departments such as National Accounts, marketing, product development, and logistics to ensure alignment and coordination.

·      Participate in cross-functional meetings and contribute to the development of company-wide strategies.

·      Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.


Working Conditions

·      This position is based anywhere in the US, with up to 75% travel required.

·      Home office work environment with remote work flexibility as needed.
