Carib Brewery USA Sales Manager, New York
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to lead the development of Carib Brewery’s business and market presence in New York. This individual will be responsible for executing sales strategies, building key relationships, and driving brand growth in a competitive urban market. The ideal candidate has experience in alcoholic beverage sales, a deep understanding of the New York market, and a passion for delivering exceptional results. The role will be based in NYC although occasional travel to Florida and the Caribbean will be required. This role will report directly to the Commercial Director at Carib Brewery USA.
Key Responsibilities
Market Development
• Identify and prioritize target accounts, including retail stores, bars and restaurants
• Develop a comprehensive sales plan to establish and grow Carib Brewery’s market share and portfolio in New York
• Leverage data and insights to identify high-potential neighborhoods and demographics
Sales Execution and Relationship Management
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
• Launch and introduce new/innovation products to our NY wholesaler, key retailers and consumers
• Execute product placement and promotional strategies to increase visibility and accessibility
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and stakeholders
• Act as the face of the brand, fostering loyalty and enthusiasm among partners
• Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure alignment on campaigns and events
Market Intelligence
• Monitor competitive activity, market trends, and consumer preferences
• Provide regular feedback and actionable recommendations to senior leadership
• Stay updated on regulatory requirements for alcoholic beverage sales in New York
Event & Community Engagement
• Represent Carib Brewery at local events, tastings, and trade shows
• Partner with community organizations to enhance brand visibility and goodwill
Qualifications
Experience
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in alcoholic beverage sales, preferably in New York
• Strong track record of building new markets or launching new products
Knowledge
• Must have a strong understanding of New York’s retail and hospitality landscape
• In-depth working knowledge of the three-tier structure, various on- and off-premise sales channels and key industry players
• Familiarity with the Caribbean market and culture preferred
Skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Data-driven decision-making and proficiency with CRM tools, including VIP/SRS
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently

Compensation & Benefits
• Competitive compensation package, including base salary plus commission ($80,000 - $90,000+, depending on qualifications)
