About the Role

Reporting to the Sales Director, the Sales Representative will focus on on-premise sales in Allegheny County, while also supporting our wholesalers in Erie, West Virginia, and Eastern PA. The role requires an individual who can efficiently and effectively communicate with buyers, manage time well, and execute a strong follow-through strategy. We expect an average of 40-50 hours of on-task work each week spread across desk time, account visits, in-market events, team meetings, and


Key Responsibilities

  • Build and strengthen relationships with bars, restaurants, and other on-premise accounts
  • Win new draft placements and execute on-premise programming
  • Grow sales volume in existing high-performing accounts while developing new business opportunities
  • Provide excellent customer service and a smooth connection to our fulfillment process
  • Regularly spend time in key accounts to ensure strong presence and brand growth
  • Work closely with wholesale partners to provide sales support in Erie, West Virginia, and Eastern PA
  • Communicate efficiently with a broad range of buyers, adapting to their needs and sales cycles
  • Maintain an organized approach to scheduling, sales tracking, and account follow-ups
  • Represent Cinderlands Beer Co. at events, tastings, and industry gatherings
  • Collaborate with the marketing and production teams to align on sales campaigns, events, and brand promotion

  • Magnetic personality – someone who genuinely enjoys talking to people and forming authentic connections
  • Energetic, diligent, and highly organized – strong follow-through and time management is a must
  • Experience in at least one tier of the wholesale beer trade – early-career applicants with solid experience are encouraged to apply
  • Self-motivated and goal-driven – able to work independently while aligning with company objectives
  • Passion for craft beer and the industry as a whole
  • Growth mindset - focused on learning, getting better everyday, and an intrinsic expectation that more and better is always possible


Qualifications

  • Competent written and verbal communication
  • 1-2 years experience in beer sales
  • Willingness to travel to support sales in neighboring markets
  • Willingness to work nights and weekends
  • Basic proficiency or ability to quickly learn Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar, Slack, Ekos, VIP
  • Valid drivers license and ability to drive a vehicle
  • Ability to move cases of beer (30 lb) from ground to bar height and vice versa
  • Ability to roll kegs (165 lb) horizontally
  • Frequent standing, walking, sitting; occasional lifting, squatting, bending, reaching overhead, travel
  • Requires serviceable vision and hearing


Compensation & Benefits

  • $45,000 - $50,000 base salary, plus a quarterly bonus structure of up to 15% of base
