Go Brewing is seeking an experienced Packaging Operator to lead and optimize all packaging operations. This role is critical in ensuring high-quality, efficient packaging for Go Brewing.


The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with deep experience in beverage packaging, team management, and process improvement in a high-volume production environment. A positive, can-do attitude is a must!

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily packaging operations ensuring efficiency, safety, and product quality.
  • Operate and maintain packaging equipment including filler, de-palletizer, compressed gases, and pasteurizer.
  • Lead, train, develop the packaging team on best practices, equipment operation, and safety protocols fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Implement and enforce SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to maintain high safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with brewing, operations, and logistics teams to ensure seamless production flow, manage inventory, troubleshoot, and minimize downtime.
  • Document key quality performance measurements, verifying all packaged products meet required specifications.
  • Monitor and improve packaging line efficiencies, minimizing waste and maximizing throughput.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability in packaging operations.
  • Work closely with suppliers and vendors to manage packaging material inventory, quality, and cost controls.



Qualifications

  • 2+ years of packaging or production management experience in a brewery, beverage manufacturing, or CPG environment.
  • Experience on CODI and similar in-line canning lines a plus. 
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams in a fast-paced production setting.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience troubleshooting and maintaining packaging equipment.
  • Deep understanding of packaging line efficiency, automation, and quality control.
  • Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP, and OSHA regulations.
  • Ability to analyze performance data and drive process improvements.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with ERP or production tracking systems is a plus.
  • Ability to manipulate valves and clamps. 
  • Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for long periods of time. 
  • Ability to bend, kneel, reach, twist, stoop, and climb ladders. 
  • Ability to lift 60 pounds without assistance. 
  • Ability to push, pull, and move objects up to 160 pounds. 
  • Personal, reliable transportation.
