DESTIHL® Brewery is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to work alongside our distributors in the Western United States market and help retailers grow volume in existing & new on and off-premise accounts.
DESTIHL is an independent, regional craft/contract brewing company based in Normal, Illinois. We’ve produced award-winning beers since 2007, our portfolio is distributed in almost every state nationwide and exported to several other countries. Thanks to our incredible portfolio of brands and the skills and energy of our team, we are very fortunate to be enjoying significant growth while many others are shrinking. Because of this, by early 2025, DESTIHL will secure a spot firmly within the top 100 Regional Craft Breweries in the U.S.!
Furthermore, DESTIHL has been appointed as the sole producer and supplier of Wrexham Lager for the United States and its territories. Wrexham Lager is the oldest lager beer brand in the United Kingdom. It is owned by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, who are known for their “Welcome to Wrexham“ roles and several other prominent Hollywood roles and business endeavors.
We seek a dynamic sales professional with at least two years of craft beer sales and distributor management experience to collaborate with our Director of Sales on retail partner support and sales plans with enthusiasm and purpose for our distributor partners. Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
§ Develop and maintain strong professional relationships and regular communication with wholesaler partners, their management, operations, sales teams, and key retailers.
§ Schedule and attend meetings with distributors to discuss beers, branding, sales and distribution goals, new product launch plans, logistics, marketing\POS, etc.
§ Assume a leadership role in implementing DESTIHL initiatives with wholesaler partners and retailers.
§ Communicate brewery objectives, priorities, policies, and procedures with wholesaler partners.
§ Monitor wholesaler inventory to ensure levels are appropriate and assist in developing and approving sales orders.
§ Use VIP, and other company-provided software to identify, develop and analyze sales opportunities and other business insights.
§ Demonstrate strong retail and wholesale-oriented math skills and understand gross profit, gross margin, pricing strategies, and discounting structures.
§ Represent DESTIHL at key special events, festivals, and other promotional events in the territory.
§ Your work will be done in a home office, a vehicle, or in the field.
§ Regular visits to bars, restaurants, and retail accounts are required.
§ Valid driver’s license, a registered, reliable, insured vehicle, and ability to drive between assigned accounts.
§ Must have all applicable and current registrations and/or licenses required by all State and other governmental agencies to be a brewery representative.

What We’re Looking For:
§ A person at least 21 years of age that lives in the assigned territory with a strong knowledge of the craft beer industry, the three-tier distribution system, the local craft beer market, and key retailers. Preferred locations are Phoenix, AZ or other major metro areas in the Western U.S.
§ Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment, including a flexible work schedule, which occasionally includes nights, weekends, and some holidays.
§ Proven ability to be a self-starter and initiator.
§ Exceptional organizational and planning skills.
§ Possess an upbeat, fun-driven attitude and a great work ethic and professionalism!
§ Understanding of and demonstrating the fundamentals of wholesale-oriented math skills and understanding gross profit, gross margin, pricing strategies, and discounting structures.
§ Ability and willingness to maintain a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
How to Stand Out:

- Cicerone® Certified or Certified Beer Server
- Excellent sales, organizational, and planning skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher education.
What You’ll Get:
- Competitive compensation including base salary, commission, and bonus commensurate with experience in the range of $69,000 - $74,000 (and up with commissions growth on sales growth).
