Position Overview
The Senior Director of Sales will execute and oversee all outside sales initiatives, ensuring Bottle Logic’s growth in key markets. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the craft beer industry, strong leadership abilities, and a passion for building relationships with distributors, retailers, and consumers. Reporting to the executive leadership team, the Sales Manager will manage our Sales Representatives, develop and implement sales strategies, manage key accounts, and lead our field sales team to meet and exceed revenue goals.

- Status: Full Time, Exempt, Salary + Bonus Package
- Base Pay: $100,000 - 120,000 depending on experience, with up to 30% annual bonus based on meeting and exceeding targets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to expand Bottle Logic’s presence in key territories, including chain retail, independent accounts, and on-premise placements.
- Establish sales goals, revenue targets, and performance metrics for the sales team.
- Work closely with distributors to maintain strong relationships, monitor performance, and identify new opportunities.
- Manage pricing structures, promotional plans, and marketing strategies to optimize revenue and brand positioning.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, new sales opportunities, and areas for growth.
Team Leadership & Management
- Hire, train, and lead a high-performing field sales team to achieve sales objectives.
- Provide coaching, performance evaluations, and mentorship to ensure team success.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to develop sales tools, promotions, and events that drive engagement and brand loyalty.
Account & Distributor Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships with retail partners, bar owners, and distributors.
- Monitor sales performance across various channels, ensuring effective execution of Bottle Logic’s sales strategies.
- Negotiate and manage contracts, pricing agreements, and placement opportunities with major retail chains and independent accounts.
Brand Growth & Market Expansion
- Identify new geographic and retail expansion opportunities, working with leadership to develop growth strategies.
- Represent Bottle Logic at industry events, trade shows, and key market activations.
- Oversee the planning and execution of promotional events, tastings, and collaborations to strengthen brand visibility and consumer engagement.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years of sales experience in the craft beer or alcoholic beverage industry.
- 3+ years of sales leadership or management experience, preferably with a brewery or distributor.
- Strong understanding of beer sales within both on-premise (bars, restaurants) and off-premise (retail, grocery, liquor stores) environments.
- Experience working with distributors, managing sales relationships, and executing go-to-market strategies.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends, sales data, and performance metrics to drive decision-making.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently while collaborating across departments.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Ekos, and Microsoft Office for sales tracking and reporting.
- Must be able to travel as needed for sales visits, events, and industry functions.
- A passion for craft beer and a deep understanding of Bottle Logic’s brand ethos.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Ability to lift and move cases of beer (up to 55 lbs) and maneuver kegs (up to 165 lbs with assistance).
- Work in various environments, including field sales, distributor meetings, and promotional events.
- Ability to drive between account locations and occasionally work evenings or weekends for industry events.
