VP of Sales – Pure Madness Brewery Group
Location: This role can be based in Jackson Hole, Wyoming or can be Remote; with preference for proximity to existing markets
Travel: Approx. 20% to key markets

Pure Madness Brewery Group, the largest brewery group in Wyoming and a top 100 U.S. craft beer producer, consists of Melvin Brewing Company and Roadhouse Brewing Company. With two manufacturing breweries and three unique brewpub locations in Jackson Hole and Alpine, WY, we are committed to producing quality products, building strong consumer relationships, and cultivating a high-performance work environment.
Our 18-state distribution network is rapidly growing, and we’re looking for a visionary VP of Sales to lead our sales team, drive market expansion, and help elevate our brands to new heights.
Position Mission:
As the VP of Sales, you will spearhead the strategic growth and development of Pure Madness Brewery Group’s sales efforts. You will lead existing market growth, new market development, staff training, and innovation while driving our KPIs and ensuring our goals align with our overall business strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Strategy: Lead, develop, and motivate the sales team, ensuring alignment with business strategy and company values. Drive sales growth through market expansion, “big hit” account negotiation, new product releases, and innovative strategies.
- Sales Execution: Own the development and execution of sales goals, ensuring they are met while balancing seasonal product releases and market demand.
- Partner & Distributor Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with distributors, identifying key market opportunities and optimizing product mix to maximize sales.
- Market Analysis: Use tools like IRI, VIP, and GP Analytics to analyze sales trends, uncover new opportunities, and report findings to senior leadership.
- Cultural Leadership: Foster a high-performance, inclusive sales culture. Work closely with internal teams to drive accountability and improve cross-departmental collaboration.
- Operational Excellence: Monitor and report on KPIs, sales volume, market share, and sales targets. Drive continuous improvement and innovation in sales processes.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of sales leadership experience (preferably in the beverage or CPG industry)
- Strong strategic thinking with a proven track record of meeting sales goals and growing markets
- Passion for developing people and leading high-performing teams
- Excellent problem-solving and customer relationship management skills
- Deep understanding of the beer industry (both market trends and product specifics)
- Familiarity with sales analytics tools (IRI, VIP, GP Analytics, Crafted ERP) is a plus
- Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative leadership style
