Industrial Arts Brewing Company was founded in 2016 and continues to grow. We operate a 70,000 sq ft purpose built state of the art facility in Beacon, NY with a 100 hL custom brewhouse and a modern, flexible and efficient packaging line. We built our business on our great beer, but have now moved beyond beer and are proud of our variety of non-alcoholic products including non-alc beer and hemp-infused beverages. Job Summary:

The Cellar Operator is responsible for all aspects of Cellar operations, basic lab work, packaging, and brewery sanitation in the pursuit of producing high quality beer and other beverages in a safe and efficient manner.  

Responsibilities: 

• Adherence to safety standards, cGMP, Master Sanitation Schedule, and all relevant rules and regulations as outlined by IABC SOP’s and policies. Making sure to always maintain safe working practices and complete all documentation in a timely manner.
• Raw material handling and organization including proper labeling, storage, and transportation of goods, with attention to detail in batch rotation, lot numbers, and FIFO
• Monitoring and documentation of ongoing fermentations and shepherding each product through its lifecycle from brew day to preparation for packaging.
• Cleaning and filling kegs  
• Canning and packaging line operation as needed  
• Loading and unloading trucks and assisting in warehouse as needed
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
