Chainline Brewing Company is seeking a Sales Manager to join our team! We are a locally owned craft brewery located in Kirkland on the Seattle Metro’s Eastside that produces award winning craft beer for both on and off-premise accounts throughout the state. We are a fast-growing company and we’re looking for someone with passion and excitement to assist in growing our brand!

  • Has a passion for, and a range of experience in, the craft beer industry. 
  • Has a successful history of developing, managing, and inspiring top-notch sales teams. 
  • Has experience utilizing data insights and analytics to successfully grow a business and market footprint.
  • Is comfortable working in a self-directed, results-based atmosphere.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a keen sense of humor
  • Highly organized

 

Management Responsibilities

 

  • Manage CBC’s business with key off and on-premise retailers to maintain relationships as well as gain new distribution and promotional activity, both by calling directly on retailers as well as collaborating with distributors.
  • Planning and implementing comprehensive strategic sales initiatives that align distributor sales team’s objectives with the brewery's brand identity and sales plans.
  • Providing detailed weekly sales reports and account status, as well as strategy updates and changes
  • Working with production and brewing staff to ensure timely delivery of beer to wholesalers and retailers.
  • Ensuring compliance with all state and federal laws pertaining to the sale, merchandising and promotion of beer.

 

 

Position Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in craft beer sales
  • 3+ years working with industry sales analytics including VIP.
  • Experience with the function and operating structure of beverage distributors.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods (8+ hours)
  • Must be able to lift 55 pounds and move up to 160 pounds.
  • Willingness to travel to meet with Distributors and retailers.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Must have a reliable vehicle for work related travel.
  • Must be 21 or older.

Essential Skills

  • Computer skills including Word, Quickbooks, Excel, and PowerPoint

Compensation

Compensation is salary based plus commission.
