- Wagenmaker Beer Company was Founded in 2018 by Jose Alvarez, in Mundelein, Illinois. Working a full-time job with his family business and building the brewery after hours for 2 years, the first few cases of the company's flagship Wagenmaker American Pale Ale hit stores locally. Unfortunately the pandemic also hit and put the company's dream of expanding on hold till things got a better. Fast forward 2 more years and in the spring of 2022 the company debuted new 12oz/12 pack carton packaging for its flagship with some help from a contract company in Lawrenceville, Georgia until the company can afford a larger Brewhouse. A whole new business model to only brew core beers with Americana influence. Wagenmaker American Pale Ale will also be available in Wisconsin by the summer of 2022 along with future brands with the value of brewing quality beer with pure ingredients.
