Outlaw Light Beer is aiming to be a disruptor in what its CEO believes is a stale light beer segment. Ari Opsahl, CEO of Outlaw’s parent company, Tivioli Brewing, is a former Anheuser-Busch InBev (A-B) executive. He believes Outlaw has provided light beer drinkers “an alternative at the price point that they were accustomed to” paying.

Dutch brewing giant Heineken N.V. reported its first half 2021 earnings today, and its U.S. business division recorded “high-single digit” beer volume growth through the first two quarters of the year.

Night Shift Brewing Company will temporarily close its Lovejoy Wharf location in Boston. The last day, for now, is set for Saturday, January 23, and the reopen date is still to be determined.
