About Laws Whiskey House

Established in 2011, Laws Whiskey House is a purpose driven, grain-to-bottle whiskey distillery founded on the principle that the soul of its whiskey is comprised of the people who grow it, the people who make it, and the people who drink it. Using the traditional method of open-air, on grain fermentation, Laws' whiskeys feature high altitude grown American mother grains and mountain spring water while aging in 53-gallon charred American oak barrels. With a collection of award-winning whiskey, including several Bottled in Bond expressions, Laws Whiskey House invites you to visit their tasting room in Denver's historic Gates neighborhood and enjoy the Laws experience. Position Summary

The Tour Guide/Brand Ambassador will report directly to the GM. This position is responsible for the on-site guest experience, including first impressions of the company, exceptional hospitality, and customer service. Primary duties include engaging with customers about Whiskey, not just our own: selling Whiskey; keeping the tasting room spotless, clearing and cleaning glassware after tours, as well as general bar cleaning as needed. A big part of the job is leading a guided Whiskey experience tour, so being comfortable with public speaking is a must.  It is required that this position is also able to answer all production questions related to the distillery.

In addition, we are looking for some bartending experience to help cover shifts as needed in our new Whiskey Sanctuary. The main tasks are to provide our guests with amazing hospitality and a memorable experience through teamwork and a positive attitude. Bartenders/BA’s are expected to reinforce the brand position and brand strategy through exceptional customer service and attentiveness to a welcoming space.

With this hybrid position, you will be rotating shifts between giving tours & bartending.
