Brewery Cellar Operator

Prison City Brewing is expanding & looking to add to our brew team.

We are seeking an experienced Cellar Operator to work in our new production facility. Applicants with industrial/mechanical skills, electric, plumbing etc. are encouraged to apply, however this is not required for the position. This position is full time Monday through Friday and has the opportunity for advancement.

Duties include:

-Performing cellaring functions as needed, including but not limited to operating centrifuge, CIP, SIP, dry hopping, yeast harvest, daily fermenter checks, dropping yeast, purging tanks, general cleaning etc. Other duties as assigned and according to your skill set and interests.

-Performing all tasks in a safe and responsible manner, following SOPs and safety protocols.

-Maintaining a clean brewery environment.

-Maintaining paper and electronic records for all relevant brewery statistics including pH, gravity, CO2, dissolved oxygen etc.

Candidates should have the ability to work independently as well as with a team, have strong attention to detail and be a good problem solver. Must also be able to lift 55+ lbs repeatedly and on a regular basis and safely work with hazardous chemicals. Must have a valid NYS drivers license. Pay commensurate upon experience.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
